For many pets, seeing a suitcase come down from the loft can only mean one thing: they’re absolutely coming with you. Sadly, it is not as simple as that. Pets travelling from the UK to Europe currently require:
A microchip
A valid rabies vaccination
An Animal Health Certificate (AHC)
Some dogs will also need tapeworm treatment before returning to the UK.
Animal Health Certificates can usually be used for onward travel within the EU and for returning home for up to 4 months, provided vaccinations remain valid. The timings around vaccinations and certificates can still be quite strict though, so we always recommend organising everything well in advance — especially before the busy summer period.
Our team can help with:

Whether your pet loves the adventure or simply enjoys being wherever you are, we’ll help make sure everything is organised before you travel.
