What We’re Doing to Reduce Our Environmental Impact 

• Reducing Our Carbon Pawprint 
  We are working with Investors in the Environment to measure and reduce our carbon emissions. This helps us set meaningful goals and continuously improve the way we work. 
• Being Energy Smart 
  We prioritise energy-efficient lighting, heating and equipment, and aim to reduce our energy use year-on-year. 
• Reducing Waste 
  We recycle wherever possible, choose eco-friendly products, and work hard to minimise unnecessary waste throughout the practice. 
• Greener Anaesthesia 
  Anaesthetic gases are traditionally a significant environmental concern in veterinary medicine.
  At Ainsdale Vets, we’re proud to: 
  • Use low-flow anaesthesia whenever it’s safe for your pet 
  • Recycle waste anaesthetic gases via our new Sage Tech VET-Dock system

  This allows us to provide safe, effective care while dramatically reducing our environmental footprint. 

• Caring About Water Use 
  We actively monitor our water consumption and maintain equipment to avoid waste. 
• Supporting Sustainable Travel 
  We encourage walking, cycling, car-sharing, and other low-impact travel options for both staff and clients where possible.
